Who We Are: Building better bonds, one dog at a time!
Over the last 25 years, we have kept pretty much every type of mad mutt there is. We’ve had spaced out Spaniels, Loopy Lurchers, Wild Westies, Crazy Crosses, Pampered Pure breeds, Raucous Rescue dogs & Mad Mongrels, and even though some had severe behavioural problems at the start, we have loved each and every one. At one point, we had 4 Wolf Dogs at the same time: a Timberwolf, a Saarloos Hybrid, an Inuit Wolfdog and a Czech. Crazy? Probably, but so much fun!
Here are the latest additions to our family. Bella, our Siberian Husky, and our boys & girls, Buddy & Teddy (also known as double trouble), looking very cute and totally innocent for the camera!
In addition to the formal training we have undergone, the last twenty-five years have taught us a great deal – everything from behaviours and what drives them, training techniques (what works, what doesn’t), rearing puppies from birth to maturity, nutrition and dietary requirements, and the day-to-day stuff that keeps a dog happy, healthy and well behaved.
Our no-nonsense training methods are quite simple. We work with you, the owner, to provide you with the skills and techniques to effect desired changes, and aim to empower you with the confidence and leadership that every dog responds positively to.
Sadly, we see far too many dogs end up in Rescue Centres, purely because of behavioural issues that are potentially easily correctable, and it’s our aim to prevent as many animals from going down this road as possible through providing education, training, and support to owners.
One thing’s for sure, we will strive to equip and empower you with the confidence and skills to create the desired change, and support both you and your dog, to achieve the best outcome possible, and that’s a promise.
